A challenging lesson focussed on a song that is currently number 1 in the French charts.\n \nStarter:\n- Match the endings to the right pronoun\n \nMain:\n- Conjugate the infinitives in (taken from the lyrics)\n- Listen to the song and fill in the gap (using the verbs just seen) – don’t show the video as it is the lyrics video (it will show the answer)\n- Unjumble the key words (they can be found in the lyrics).\n \nPlenary:\n- Group discussion: what is the main theme of the song (answer: b. racism – although the other answers are also acceptable)

A presentation to introduce what there is in a student's bag. This includes introduction of the contextualising question, introduction of new vocabulary along with an introduction to connectives and how to make more complex sentences (year 7 level) and in the negative.
